Andrea Pizzi è nato a Bologna nel 1970. Avvocato, specializzato in diritto dell’arte, proprietà intellettuale, media.
Nel 2005 fonda la Commissione Diritto dell’Arte in seno all’UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats – Paris), con lo scopo di approfondire e diffondere il diritto del’arte, organizzando conferenze e sessioni di studio in tutto il mondo (The Art and the Law, Bahia 2006; Stolen Art: how extensive is the problem?, Parigi 2007; The loss of art: the international perspective, Bilbao 2008; Museum Law, Bucarest 2008; The Art and the Law, Malaga 2009; The legal aspects of modern and contemporary art market, Siviglia 2009; Art of the ancient world, Istanbul 2010). Come avvocato italiano ha partecipato al convegno internazionale Holocaust Art Looting and Restitution organizzato nel 2011 a Milano da Christie’s e dalla Commissione Diritto dell’Arte UIA.
In materia di Writing e Street Art ricordiamo la sua partecipazione a Do the right wall/Fai il muro giusto (Biennale del Muro Dipinto, Dozza (BO) 2009, a cura di Fabiola Naldi) e DAC – I diritti dell’arte contemporanea (Torino 2010, a cura di Gianmaria Ajani e Alessandra Donati). Assiste artisti, collezionisti, istituzioni culturali e musei. Autore di numerosi articoli e saggi in materia.

In 2005 he founded the Art Law Commission within the UIA (Union Internationale des Avocats – Paris), in order to deepen and enlarge the right art and from organizing conferences and study sessions all over the world (The Art and the Law, Bahia 2006; Stolen Art: how extensive is the problem?, Parigi 2007; The loss of art: the international perspective, Bilbao 2008; Museum Law, Bucarest 2008; The Art and the Law, Malaga 2009; The legal aspects of modern and contemporary art market, Siviglia 2009; Art of the ancient world, Istanbul 2010). As Italian lawyer participated in the international conference Holocaust Art Looting and Restitution organized in 2011 in Milan by Christie’s and the Art Law Commission of the UIA.
In the field of writing and street art include his participation in Do the right wall/Fai il muro giusto (Biennale del Muro Dipinto, Dozza (BO) 2009, by Fabiola Naldi) and DAC – I diritti dell’arte contemporanea (Turin, 2010, by Gianmaria Ajani and Alessandra Donati). Assists artists, collectors, cultural institutions and museums. Author of numerous articles and essays on the subject.
