Jane Rendell è critico d’arte e storico dell’architettura, teorico e progettista, professore di Architettura e Arte, e Vice Dean of Research presso la Bartlett, University College di Londra. Il suo lavoro esplora le intersezioni interdisciplinari tra l’architettura, l’arte, il femminismo, la psicoanalisi e l’urbanistica. Tra le sue pubblicazioni: Site-Writing (2010), Art and Architecture (2006), The Pursuit of Pleasure (2002), sono in corso di pubblicazione saggi per Architecktonika, (Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin) e Art et Architecture FRAC (Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain du Centre, Orléans), sta inoltre completando un nuovo libro sugli spazi di transizione tra architettura e psicoanalisi. E’ co-curatore di Pattern (2007), Critical Architecture (2007), Spatial Imagination (2005), The Unknown City (2001), Intersections (2000), Gender, Space, Architecture (1999) e Strangely Familiar (1995).

Jane Rendell, writer, art critic and architectural historian, theorist and designer, Professor of Architecture and Art, and Vice Dean of Research at the Bartlett, University College London, whose work explores interdisciplinary intersections between architecture, art, feminism, psychoanalysis and urbanism. Her authored books include Site-Writing (2010), Art and Architecture (2006), and The Pursuit of Pleasure (2002) and she has forthcoming essays for Architecktonika, (Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin), and Art et Architecture FRAC (Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain du Centre, Orléans) and is completing a new book on transitional spaces in architecture and psychoanalysis. She is co-editor of Pattern (2007), Critical Architecture (2007), Spatial Imagination (2005), The Unknown City (2001), Intersections (2000), Gender, Space, Architecture (1999) and Strangely Familiar (1995).
